The Ruger PC Carbine is a 9mm takedown pistol-caliber carbine that combines the handling of the legendary 10\/22 with the modularity modern shooters demand. Its signature feature is the interchangeable magazine well system \u2014 it ships with a Ruger SR-Series \/ Security-9 mag well installed and a second mag well for Glock magazines in the box, letting the carbine share ammo and magazines with many popular 9mm pistols.<\/p>\n
A custom tungsten “dead-blow” weight shortens bolt travel and dramatically reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise. The result is faster follow-up shots and a noticeably softer impulse than typical blowback 9mm carbines.<\/p>\n
The quick-takedown system separates the barrel\/forend from the action in seconds for compact storage or transport. Reassembly is as simple as pressing the takedown lever and rotating the forend back into place.<\/p>\n
The PC Carbine ships with a Ruger SR-series \/ Security-9 magazine well installed and a Glock-pattern magazine well in the box. Changing is tool-free. You can share magazines and ammunition with your Ruger or Glock pistol, simplifying logistics for training and home defense.<\/p>\n
Both the magazine release and charging handle are reversible for left- or right-handed use \u2014 a rare feature in this class of carbine.<\/p>\n
