Colt M4 Trooper .223 Rem

The Colt M4 Trooper is Colt’s current-production semi-auto M4-pattern patrol carbine (LE6920-R), built on the same forged 7075-T6 receivers and carbine-length direct-impingement system as the issued M4. It upgrades the classic 6920 configuration with a 13″ free-float Centurion Arms M-LOK handguard, a 16.1″ chrome-lined barrel, and a standard M4 six-position stock with A2 grip. Colt markets it as a great starting point for a next-level advanced carbine, ready for optics or iron sights.

Forged Mil-Spec Receivers

Upper and lower are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and Type III hard-coat anodized. The receiver set is built to true mil-spec tolerances, with forward assist, dust cover, flat-top Picatinny rail, and reversible safety selector.

Centurion Arms 13″ M-LOK Free-Float Handguard

The modern Trooper swaps the original 6920’s polymer carbine handguard for a 13″ Centurion Arms free-float unit: Picatinny at 12 o’clock, M-LOK at 3, 6, and 9 for accessories. It gives the shooter real estate for lights, foregrips, and bipods while isolating the barrel for better accuracy.

Chrome-Lined Mil-Spec Barrel

The 16.1″ barrel is chrome-lined for extended service life and easier maintenance. The 1:7 twist handles the full .223 / 5.56 NATO bullet range, from light 55 gr plinkers to heavy 77 gr match loads.
