Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer of precision optic mounting solutions for hunting and sporting rifles. Founded in Croatia in the 1980s, they focus on reliable, repeatable mounts that can handle the recoil of European hunting rifles while maintaining zero when properly installed.
Scope Mounts and Rings
Their quick-detach scope mounts use lever-actuated clamping systems that lock onto the rifle’s existing mounting interfaces, allowing the optic to be removed and reattached while maintaining point of impact when correctly set up. Rusan offers low-profile mounting options that keep the scope closer to the bore axis, which helps shooters achieve a natural cheek weld on rifles with higher combs without major stock modifications. Scope rings are available in multiple diameters and heights to suit different optics and rifle setups, and they are machined from quality materials with Torx fasteners for secure, repeatable clamping.
Picatinny and Weaver Rails
Rusan manufactures rifle-specific Picatinny and Weaver rails that replace or supplement factory mounting systems. These are not one-size-fits-all adapters; each rail is machined to match a particular receiver pattern. They offer solutions for many European rifles that do not typically ship with Picatinny options, including various CZ, Mauser, and Sako models. The rails are produced to recognized Picatinny specifications so that common mounts, rings, and accessories will interface correctly with the cross slots.
Modular Adapters and Components
The Rusan modular adapter systems are designed to bridge different mounting standards and to integrate modern accessories, including night vision and thermal clip-on devices, with existing optics and bases. These modular parts allow shooters to combine European-style bases with contemporary accessories or to adapt between different rail and ring formats without replacing all of the underlying hardware. Rusan also supplies individual replacement components such as levers, clamping screws, and recoil lugs, so high-wear parts can be serviced without changing the entire mount.
