Overview

The Microtech Dirac Delta D/E DLC Shadow is a Signature Series variant of Microtech’s innovative top-fire OTF automatic. Patterned after the pioneer Dirac, the Delta holds the same ergonomic chassis and innovative internal mechanism in a more robust size, with this Shadow edition featuring a complete DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating on the M390MK dagger blade, aluminum handle, hardware, and pocket clip. The defining top-mounted firing button enables intuitive, ambidextrous blade deployment and retraction with a natural thumb motion.

Unlike side-firing OTF knives, the Dirac Delta’s cover-mounted button allows for a natural, intuitive thumb press for blade deployment and retraction. The design enables true ambidextrous operation without repositioning the hand.

Ergonomic HALO-Inspired Chassis

The Dirac Delta’s chassis features curved lines inspired by the legendary Microtech HALO, creating a distinctive feel in the hand that sets it apart from traditional straight-sided OTF designs.

DLC Shadow Finish

The complete Diamond-Like Carbon coating across all surfaces provides extreme hardness, wear resistance, and a sleek blacked-out aesthetic. The DLC finish also adds a layer of corrosion protection beyond the already-resistant M390MK steel.
