KMR Main Spring Strut W

KMR W-Series Main Spring Strut

The KMR W-Series Main Spring Strut is a high-precision internal component designed to optimize the ignition cycle and trigger pull of your KMR pistol. As the primary link between the hammer and the main spring, this strut is critical for ensuring consistent energy transfer and a smooth, predictable trigger break.

Precision Engineering for Superior Performance

In a competition-grade firearm like the KMR W-series, every moving part must operate with minimal friction. This main spring strut is precision-machined from high-grade steel and finished with a specialized low-friction surface. This ensures that as the hammer is cocked and released, the spring compresses and expands without binding or grit, resulting in a noticeably smoother trigger take-up and a crisper reset.

Technical Specifications:

• High-Strength Tool Steel: Manufactured from hardened steel to resist bending and wear under the constant high-pressure tension of the main spring.
• Optimized Geometry: Specifically contoured for the KMR W-series frame to ensure perfect alignment with the hammer, preventing lateral play and inconsistent primer strikes.
• Polished Bearing Surfaces: The strut features polished edges to reduce internal drag against the spring and the frame, enhancing the overall “feel” of the action.
• Direct OEM Replacement: Designed to factory specifications for the KMR W-02 and related models, ensuring a perfect drop-in fit with no modification required.

Why Upgrade Your Main Spring Strut?

The main spring strut is a high-stress component that dictates the “timing” of your pistol’s ignition system. A factory-spec KMR strut ensures that the hammer fall remains consistent round after round. Whether you are tuning your pistol with different spring weights for a lighter competition trigger or simply maintaining your firearm for maximum reliability, this original KMR part is essential for peak performance.

Key Benefits:

• Smoother Trigger Pull: Eliminates the “scratchy” feeling often caused by stamped or unpolished struts.
• Improved Ignition Reliability: Ensures the main spring delivers a consistent vertical force to the hammer, reducing the risk of light primer strikes.
• Enhanced Durability: Engineered to withstand hundreds of thousands of cycles without fatigue or deformation.
• Professional Grade: The preferred choice for gunsmiths and competitive shooters looking to maintain the high standards of the KMR W-series platform.
