KMR Firing Pin W

KMR W-Series Precision Firing Pin

The KMR W-Series Firing Pin is a high-performance internal component engineered for the demanding requirements of competitive and professional shooters. Designed specifically for the KMR W-02 and related W-series platforms, this firing pin is the heart of your pistol’s ignition system, ensuring that every trigger pull results in a reliable shot.

Engineered for Competition Reliability

In high-stakes environments like IPSC or USPSA, ignition failure is not an option. This firing pin is precision-machined from a specialized high-grade steel alloy that has been heat-treated to achieve the perfect balance of hardness and toughness. This prevents the tip from deforming or becoming brittle over time, even after tens of thousands of dry-fire cycles and live-fire rounds.

Technical Specifications:

• Premium Tool Steel: Manufactured from impact-resistant alloy steel to withstand the constant high-velocity strikes against the primer.
• Optimized Mass & Geometry: Specifically weighted for the W-series slide to provide the ideal kinetic energy for consistent primer ignition while maintaining a fast lock time.
• Precision Polished Surface: Features a low-friction finish that ensures smooth travel within the firing pin channel, reducing drag and preventing light primer strikes.
• OEM Exact Fit: A genuine KMR component, ensuring 100% compatibility with the firing pin spring, retaining plate, and safety plunger of the W-series models.

Enhanced Longevity & Safety

The KMR W-Series Firing Pin is designed to handle the pressures of both factory ammunition and high-performance competition reloads. By maintaining strict factory tolerances, this pin ensures centered primer strikes, which significantly reduces the risk of pierced primers and increases the overall safety of the firearm operation.

Key Benefits:

• Eliminates Light Strikes: Provides deep, consistent primer indentation for maximum ignition reliability.
• Fast Lock Time: The lightweight yet durable design contributes to a crisper shooting experience and improved accuracy.
• Reduced Wear: The specialized heat treatment ensures the pin retains its factory dimensions significantly longer than standard aftermarket alternatives.
• Essential for Maintenance: A critical spare part for any serious shooter’s maintenance kit, ensuring your KMR remains in peak operating condition.
