The RailChanger X Gen 2 is the evolution of Area 419’s groundbreaking rail-mounted shooting bag system. Engineered from the ground up with a lever-actuated bag retention system, it allows precision rifle shooters to spend more time acquiring and engaging targets — and less time wrestling with gear on the barricade or in the prone.

Lever-Actuated Retention

The Gen 2 redesign introduces a positive-locking lever mechanism that securely captures compatible shooting bags. A quick flip of the lever locks or releases the bag, enabling rapid transitions between positions without losing your shooting platform.

Integrated ARCALOCK Dovetail

A male ARCALOCK section is integrally milled into the underside of the RailChanger X, providing a direct interface with any ARCALOCK-compatible clamp. This eliminates adapters and reduces stack height between your rifle and the bag system. The included ARCALOCK clamp features a dual-thread design: coarse 16 TPI threads for rapid positioning and fine 32 TPI threads for final lockup torque.

Modular Accessory Cutouts

Integrated accessory attachment cutouts allow barricade blocks and other accessories to be mounted directly to the RailChanger X, creating a self-contained shooting platform that adapts to any stage or position.
