HOWA Bravo Chassis 26″ 6.5 Creedmoor

The HOWA M1500 Bravo is a factory precision rifle built without compromise. It pairs the renowned forged-steel HOWA 1500 barreled action — trusted by hunters and competitors for over four decades — with the Kinetic Research Group (KRG) Bravo chassis, a full-length aluminum-backboned system wrapped in a glass-reinforced polymer shell. The result looks like a traditional stock but performs like a dedicated precision chassis, and in the 26″ 6.5 Creedmoor configuration it becomes an out-of-the-box long-range platform ready for steel, competition, or extended-range hunting.

Forged HOWA 1500 Action

Every Bravo begins with HOWA’s forged one-piece receiver and bolt. Two opposing locking lugs, a large Sako-style external extractor, and a plunger ejector give reliable feeding and extraction across the full .308-size case head family. The action is mated to the chassis via KRG’s CNC-machined Radius Bedding System — a full-length aluminum V-block that delivers rigid, repeatable bedding without the inconsistency of traditional stock fit.

KRG Bravo Chassis

The KRG Bravo is what sets this rifle apart. It feeds from AICS-pattern detachable polymer magazines, accepts M-LOK accessories along the forend, uses length-of-pull spacers for individual fit, and includes an integrated barricade/stop hook at the toe for positional shooting. You get the handling feel of a traditional stock with the complete feature set of a modern precision chassis.

Match-Grade Trigger and Three-Position Safety

The two-stage HACT (HOWA Actuator Controlled Trigger) is factory-set in the 2.5 – 3 lb range. A light first stage rolls into a crisp second-stage wall, giving match-grade feel straight out of the box. The three-position safety lets the shooter unload with the safety still engaged — a feature serious riflemen expect.

26″ Heavy Threaded Barrel

A heavy, free-floated 26″ barrel with 1:8″ twist takes full advantage of the 6.5 Creedmoor’s ballistic reputation. The longer tube extracts every bit of velocity from heavier high-BC projectiles in the 130 – 147 gr range — exactly where 6.5 CM excels. The muzzle is threaded 5/8″-24 UNEF for brake or suppressor.
