The factory mil-spec forward assist is one of the most overlooked weak points on an AR-15 upper — small, smooth and uncomfortable to press hard, especially under stress or with gloved hands. The Strike Industries Forward Assist solves all three problems. The button is CNC-machined from heat-treated high-strength carbon steel, then textured with an aggressive hex pattern that gives the shooter immediate tactile feedback and a positive engagement surface for hard, repeatable thumb strikes. The package includes an enhanced spring and roll pin so it is a complete drop-in replacement for the OEM unit.
