The RifleCX Brass Brush is part of the RifleCX gun-care system, intended for those situations where a high round count or a long-neglected firearm has left fouling that wipes and solvents cannot remove on their own. The bristles are made of brass, a metal soft enough to be kind to bore steel and external finishes yet firm enough to mechanically dislodge hardened carbon, copper and lead deposits. RifleCX recommends using a brush only when truly necessary: work gently, in a single direction, without pressing hard or scrubbing back and forth, so that delicate surfaces are never scratched.
