AccuWasher Gen 2 Shim Adapter

The Shim Adapter extends the AccuWasher Gen 2 Muzzle Device Alignment System to barrels and muzzle devices where the standard shim diameter would leave a visible step. It sits between the barrel shoulder and a larger-diameter AccuWasher shim, centring the shim on a smaller thread so the shim’s outside edge lines up with the muzzle device body. The result is the same exact, repeatable timing as the standard kit, with a cleaner, professional appearance that ordinary shims cannot match.

Each pack contains three adapters, all 0.035″ thick, so the adapter’s own thickness is easy to account for when selecting the timing shim.

Choosing the right adapter

Pick the adapter by your barrel thread and by the AccuWasher shim diameter you want to run. The .825″ adapter (AW625 series) fits 1/2″, 9/16″ and M15x1 threads; the .925″ adapter (AW750 series) fits 1/2″, 5/8″, 9/16″, 11/16″, M15x1 and M18x1 threads. The four variants offered here cover the most common combinations: 1/2″ to .825″, 1/2″ to .925″, 15 mm to .825″ and 5/8″ to .925″.
