The HOWA Gameking package is a complete, ready-to-zero hunting rifle: HOWA’s forged 1500 barreled action, a Hogue OverMolded pillar-bedded stock, and a Nikko Stirling Gameking 3.5-10×44 mm LRX illuminated scope mounted on a one-piece base with matching rings. In the 22″ .30-06 Springfield configuration it is the classic North-American big-game rifle — enough velocity and bullet weight for deer, elk, and similar game at traditional hunting distances, in a balanced package that carries well and shoulders naturally.

Forged HOWA 1500 Action

The HOWA 1500 is an all-forged, push-feed bolt action built in Japan. A one-piece bolt with dual opposing lugs, large Sako-style external extractor, and plunger ejector delivers dependable feeding and extraction through a lifetime of hunting seasons. The action is bedded on two aluminum pillars inside the Hogue stock for repeatable accuracy.

Hogue OverMolded Stock

The synthetic Hogue OverMolded stock combines a rigid internal skeleton with a soft rubberized outer shell. It grips securely in wet conditions, is quiet against brush, and stays stable across temperature and humidity swings. Sling studs, a Hogue recoil pad, and a standard 13.87″ length of pull round out a stock that simply disappears in the field.

Nikko Stirling Gameking 3.5-10×44 LRX Scope

The included Nikko Stirling Gameking features an illuminated Long Range X reticle with push-button illumination — useful in the low-light first and last legal shooting hours when big game moves. The 3.5-10× magnification range covers close-woods shots through 400-yard open-field work, and the side-focus parallax adjustment keeps crisp images at varying distances.

22″ Cold Hammer Forged Barrel

A 22″ #2 sporter barrel gives full .30-06 velocity without adding carry weight. The 1:10″ twist stabilizes the entire practical .30-06 bullet range from 150 to 220 grains — deer loads through elk loads — and the cold hammer forging process delivers exceptional bore uniformity for out-of-the-box accuracy.
