The Micro Draco 9SG (MD9SG) is a compact 9×19 mm shoulder-fired semi-automatic carbine born from the long-running collaboration between Strategic Defense and Nova Modul, marketed under the Micro Draco brand registered at EU level by Strategic Defense. Designed as a versatile platform that bridges the gap between a compact pistol-caliber rifle and an ultra-portable shoulder-fired weapon, the MD9SG is equally suitable for government and law-enforcement applications, sport shooting and recreational range use at authorised facilities. For users with the appropriate licences, it is also a capable and accessible choice as a shoulder-fired defence and security firearm.

Built on an AK-pattern action and engineered with extensive ergonomic refinements, the MD9SG offers fast handling, an extensive accessory rail layout, and broad magazine compatibility — making it adaptable to a wide range of shooting disciplines and configurations.
