The Microtech Ultratech EX-ZBP Interceptor Signature Series Stonewash Standard is the final-generation evolution of Microtech’s flagship out-the-front automatic. The Signature Series pairs the distinctive Interceptor blade profile — a wide, double-edged silhouette that splits the difference between bayonet and Hellhound — with a milled natural-clear aluminum chassis and the full suite of ZBP-era refinements. Each piece is finished in stonewash for a clean, modern-tactical aesthetic.

Zero Blade Play (ZBP) Platform

The EX-ZBP designation marks Microtech’s most refined Ultratech mechanism. The Zero Blade Play system eliminates lockup wobble in both deployed and stowed positions, while the new milled switch platform reduces friction and helps shed pocket debris for cleaner, more consistent firing across the life of the knife.

Crud Kutter & Dual-Fuel Drive Train

Two of Microtech’s most important ZBP-era refinements live inside this chassis. The Crud Kutter actively clears debris on each cycle, and the Dual-Fuel Drive Train balances spring force across both deployment and retraction strokes for an audibly smoother action.
