Overview

The Microtech Scarab II Gen III Executive T/E Full Serrate Black Tactical is the upsized, fully-serrated tactical configuration of the revised Scarab II platform. The Gen III revision introduces Microtech’s smoothest production OTF drive system to date, while the Executive size class adds blade and overall length for users who want presence and capability in a heavier-duty OTF. The Tactical finish keeps the entire package low-visibility.

New Gen III OTF Drive System

The Gen III revision rebuilds the Scarab’s drive train from the inside out. The switch now rides on a milled platform that breaks up pocket debris and lowers friction, producing the cleanest, smoothest deployment Microtech has ever shipped from a Scarab. Maintenance intervals are reduced, and consistency between cycles is dramatically improved.

Full-Serrated Tanto Blade

The 3.9″ tanto blade is run with a full-length serrated edge in M390MK steel. Tanto geometry concentrates strength at the tip for piercing, while the full serration profile excels through stubborn, fibrous, or load-bearing materials.

Executive Class & Tactical Finish

The Executive size class adds blade and handle length compared to the standard Scarab II, producing a more authoritative footprint. The Tactical finish keeps the entire package matte and non-reflective.
