The AR-15/M4 Super Precision series of scope mounts is optimised for use on an AR-15/M4 flat-top upper. The Extended version moves the scope 1.16″ further forward than the Standard mount, which helps get correct eye relief with longer-bodied scopes or a more upright head position.
