KMR Recoil Spring 4.5″

KMR Recoil Spring 4.5″

The KMR Recoil Spring for 4.5-inch compact-slide pistols is a precision-engineered component designed to optimize cycling performance, reliability, and frame longevity. Available in multiple tension ratings, allowing you to fine-tune your pistol’s recoil characteristics to match your ammunition and shooting style.

Optimized for Compact-Slide Platforms

Compact slides have different mass and travel characteristics than full-size models, making dedicated spring calibration essential. The right spring weight ensures smooth operation, consistent lock-up, and reduced wear on your competition or carry pistol.

Available Variants:

• Hard (13 lbs): Maximum resistance — ideal for high-power ammunition and Major Power Factor loads
• Standard (12 lbs): Balanced performance for standard pressure ammunition
• Soft (11 lbs): Lighter resistance for reduced felt recoil and faster cycling
• Extra Soft (10 lbs): Minimum resistance for light loads and Minor Power Factor competition
• Extra Extra Soft (8 lbs): Ultra-light resistance for the softest possible cycling with light target loads

Key Benefits:

• Frame Longevity: Properly matched spring tension prevents the slide from bottoming out against the frame
• 4.5″ Optimized Fitment: Tailored for KMR 4.5-inch models like the Umbra, Cuda, and Spectra
• Premium Spring Alloy: High-tensile steel maintains rating over thousands of cycles without sagging
• Competition Ready: Fine-tune your setup for IPSC/USPSA Standard, Open, or Production divisions
