LWRC DI .223 Rem

The LWRC IC-DI is the direct-impingement variant of the Individual Carbine family, built on LWRC’s one-piece monoforged upper receiver and pairing LWRC’s cold-hammer-forged, NiCorr-treated 16.1″ barrel with a mid-length DGI system. It uses a full-length M-LOK free-float handguard, LWRC’s ambidextrous charging handle, and their advanced trigger guard designed for gloved manipulation. It targets users who want LWRC’s build quality and ergonomics without the cost or weight of the short-stroke piston IC-A5.

LWRC Monoforged Upper Receiver

LWRC’s signature one-piece monoforged upper incorporates the handguard mounting interface as part of the forging. This creates a stiffer, stronger upper than a bolt-on rail system and keeps zero on any optic mounted to the full-length top rail.

Cold Hammer-Forged NiCorr Barrel

The 16.1″ barrel is cold hammer forged and treated with NiCorr — a nitriding process that produces an extremely hard, corrosion-resistant bore lining rated for an exceptional service life. The spiral flutes reduce weight while aiding heat dissipation.

Ambidextrous Charging Handle

LWRC’s ambidextrous charging handle has oversized latches on both sides, allowing fast, positive manipulation with either hand or while shoulder-mounted.

LWRCI Advanced Trigger Guard

The enlarged “winter glove friendly” trigger guard is molded as part of the lower and accommodates bulky gloves without requiring an aftermarket install.
