The Microtech HALO IV T/E Marfione Select DLC Apocalyptic brings together two of Microtech’s most demanding finishing processes — a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating over an acid-washed Apocalyptic M390MK tanto blade — with a black hardcoat-anodized aluminium chassis. The result is one of the darkest, most uncompromising HALO IV configurations Microtech offers, hand-finished as part of the curated Marfione Select line.

True single-action OTF action

Like every HALO, this knife holds constant spring pressure on the blade for an unfailingly firm, decisive deployment. Retraction is manual, giving deliberate control over the blade and the unmistakable mechanical character that has defined the HALO platform for decades.

DLC Apocalyptic blade

The blade is first acid-washed for its textured Apocalyptic character, then DLC-coated for exceptional surface hardness, wear resistance and a deep, elegant look. The combined treatment delivers both visual depth and outstanding durability.

Tanto geometry

The T/E (Tanto Edge) profile concentrates strength at the tip while keeping an aggressive cutting belly behind it — a profile that excels at piercing and detail work without compromising all-round performance.

Marfione Select hand-finishing

Marfione Select pieces are individually inspected and finished to a noticeably tighter standard than standard production, combining the precision and presence of a custom knife with the proven durability of a production OTF.
