Oberland Arms BL A4 .223 Rem

The OA-15 BL A4 is the full-length, rifle-class variant in Oberland Arms’ Black Label line, built around a 20″ Lothar Walther LW19 barrel in the classic A4 configuration but modernized with a 13″ slim BL M-LOK free-float handguard. The long barrel delivers maximum velocity from .223 Rem / 5.56 ammunition and the longest practical sight radius of the BL family, making it the go-to option for precision sport shooting at extended ranges. Like its shorter siblings it uses forged 7075 receivers and is hand-built in Bavaria, ~95% to customer specification.

Full 20″ Lothar Walther Precision Barrel

The 20″ barrel is long enough to extract full velocity from 5.56 NATO ammunition — particularly important for heavier 69–77 gr match bullets at extended distances. Lothar Walther’s LW19 grade keeps accuracy sub-MOA with quality ammunition.

Modernized A4 Layout

The classic A4 rifle silhouette is preserved, but with a modern 13″ M-LOK free-float handguard instead of a traditional rifle handguard. This blends the sight radius and balance of a full-size rifle with the accessory flexibility of a modern rail.

Sport-Legal in Germany

The 20″ configuration is approved for German sporting use and is popular among precision-sport shooters for its ballistic and sight-radius advantages over shorter barrels.

Hand-Built Bavarian Craftsmanship

Each rifle is built and hand-fitted in Oberland Arms’ Huglfing facility with tolerances that consistently beat mass-production AR-15s. Delivered in a lockable OA transport case.
