AccuWasher Gen 2 System Gunsmith Kit

The Gunsmith Kit is the workshop version of the AccuWasher Gen 2 Muzzle Device Alignment System. Instead of one kit per rifle, it holds ten packs of precision mono-shims for a single thread size, sorted by thickness in a ruggedised case with separate compartments. Gunsmiths, manufacturers and builders who install muzzle devices every day get the exact shim they need without opening a fresh kit each time.

The shims themselves are the same as in the individual kits: single-piece, high-strength steel, machined with certified circular thickness uniformity of .0001″ and chamfered on one side for barrels with radiused thread shoulders. They replace crush washers, peel washers and shim stacks, giving exact, repeatable timing of muzzle brakes, flash hiders and suppressor mounts with no shear-slip or yielding.

How the system works

Fit the muzzle device without a washer and note how far short of the index it stops at hand-tight. Select the shim whose thickness closes that gap, seat it against the barrel shoulder and torque the device to specification. The external thickness markings make the selection fast, and because the shim is a solid piece there is nothing to crush, rotate or settle.

Thread options

Choose the kit that matches the barrel thread you install most: 1/2×28 with .725″ shims, 5/8×24 with .825″ shims, or 3/4×24 with .925″ shims. Metric barrels can be served with the matching .825″ or .925″ shims together with the AccuWasher Gen 2 Shim Adapters.
